It's from Let's knit Series #3 - the book is listed in the list on the right side of this page.
I'm determined to reduce my stash before jumping into buying new yarns again. Nice, isn't it? I mean knitting from the stash.

More about the 'leaf' challenge here.
The yarn is Zarina (Filatura di Crosa) ,on 3.5 mm needles and it looks very good up to now.
The problem is I only have 7 balls - I'll have to see how far is this going to take me, the firts ball is already gone, I'm into the second one.
It will certainly have very short sleeves.

It is coming along nicely. I hope you don't run out of yarn! Can't wait to see the finished top.
hi Silvia - looks beautiful! nicer than the picture in the book. Remember than the bottom ribbing eats up a lot of yarn. Sometimes if I'm really cutting it close to the edge I start with a provisional cast on and do the ribbing last.
Dear Silvia,
You do beautiful knitting! For some reason I do not follow the projects you are all doing it. I subscribed for Knitting in Japan group, but I do not follow what's being knitted.
Andrea
This is really gorgeous! I like the textured pattern. So lovely.
